Josh Morgan Finds A New Home In ChicagoPosted on April 22, 2014 by Harvey Valentine
Wide receiver Josh Morgan's homecoming didn't work out as he and the Redskins had hoped. A Washington, D.C., native, Morgan signed with the Redskins as a free agent in 2012, and he didn't seem to gel with head coach Mike Shanahan, providing limited production during the 2012 and 2013 seasons.
The Redskins moved on, signing free-agent receivers DeSean Jackson and Andre Roberts. On April 21, Morgan signed a one-year deal with the Chicago Bears, where he'll compete to be the No. 3 receiver behind Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery.
Morgan had 48 receptions for 510 yards and two touchdowns during 16 games in 2012. He was inactive for two 2013 games and finished with 20 catches for 214 yards. He also averaged 19.9 yards on 12 kickoff returns and 7.4 yards on eight punt returns.
During six NFL seasons, Morgan has 199 catches for 2,488 yards and 11 touchdowns.

The focus may be on Mike Trout and Bryce Harper, but as Harper told the media April 21, "It's two teams going at it, not just two guys."
